As a life-long devoted fan of Ted Wolf's THUNDERCATS, we are thrilled to announce that we are making the first-ever live action short based on EXODUS, the first cartoon episode which follows the ThunderCats to Third Earth after the destruction of their planet, Thundera. We're especially excited to announce that the very talented Jerry Chan (www.ringleaderproductions.com) will direct this epic 30 minute, PG-13 short from the compellingly, action-packed script by Jonny Atlas to be released summer, 2012.
This production would not be possible without your support through "Fanfunding," a fundraising method of pooling micro-donations together from fans. We hope to launch the new site by December 2009. Then, we're turning to all ThunderCats fans, young and old to help us reach our budgetary goal of $500k. Whether you give $1 or $100, you are integral to the success of this project. Shooting on location in South America and LA, every dime we raise will go directly into the production. There's no monetary gain from this short. No profit. Just good old fashioned entertainment and wish fulfillment for ThunderCats fans the world over.
